Creating an award-winning mixed-use urban village
Georgia Tech wanted to create much more than a technology institute – it wanted to create an innovative mixed-use urban village that would serve as a beacon for the city. Working closely with the client to understand its overall goals and vision, we first conducted a feasibility study on eight acres of underused land in Midtown Atlanta, and then served as master developer for this $180 million project that included world-class academic, office, retail, hotel and conference elements.
