JLL bolsters suburban team with hire of industry veteran

CHICAGO, May 5, 2022 — JLL is pleased to announce the hire of Chris Cummins as Managing Director of Chicago’s suburban office market team. Cummins joins the JLL team with over 20 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, specializing in Chicago landlord representation.

Prior to joining JLL, Cummins excelled in brokerage positions with several globally recognized commercial real estate firms. In that time, he was involved in over 11 million square feet of leases throughout the Chicago suburbs.

As Managing Director, Cummins will work closely with JLL’s suburban agency leasing team to establish and implement successful real estate strategies with landlords and investors, as well identify occupier trends and opportunities. His focus will be on the North Suburban office market, where his decades of market knowledge will make him an invaluable resource to clients.

Cummins’ dedication to his clients has earned him top recognition within the industry, including the NAIOP Suburban Transaction of the Year Award in 2007, 2015, 2018 and 2019.
