President, Central Region
Dan has overall responsibility for JLL’s team and services across the Central U.S., including Brokerage (Office, Industrial, Retail), Property Management, Project and Development Services and Valuations. Dan is accountable for the firm’s operations and business results in the Central Region, as well as developing and implementing strategic initiatives. He also maintains and develops key client relationships with owners and occupiers of real estate.
Prior to his current position, Dan was the Midwest/Southeast Regional Director, overseeing the Tenant Representation, Agency Leasing and Property Management business lines. Dan also served as Chief Operating Officer of the U.S. Leasing and Management business. Prior to his COO position, Dan worked for nine years in the firm’s corporate Tenant Representation group as a broker and team leader in Chicago and Minneapolis.
Prior to joining JLL in 1994, Dan started his career at IBM, where he held several sales and management positions. Dan also spent two years with XL Datacomp as Director of Marketing Programs and Assistant to the President.
Dan is an Executive Sponsor of JLL Americas D&I Council. Dan is based in Chicago where JLL has been named a Top Workplace by the Chicago Tribune for ten consecutive years.
Dan is a licensed Illinois real estate broker, a Board Member of the Chicago Executives’ Club, World Business Chicago, and a member of the Chicago Economic Club. Dan serves on the alumni board of directors of the Cara Program, served as Honorary Chair of the 2022 American Red Cross Heroes Breakfast, and in 2010, received the Spirit of Life Award from the Chicago Construction and Real Estate Council of City of Hope.
