The VetNet Business Network’s mission is to connect employees with the internal and external Veteran community. VetNet creates strategic and developmental programs that support JLL’s commitment to provide long-term careers for military men and women where they utilize their strong work ethic, integrity, leadership and teamwork skills, as well as their ability to succeed in a challenging work environment.

JLL achieved Military Friendly® Employer designation from 2017-2022 for our commitment to serving the military and Veteran community through outcomes and impact. JLL has also been recognized as a Military Spouse-friendly employer and for our inclusion of Veteran-owned businesses.

Support employees who are active members of the Reserve and Guard forces through our signed pledge of the U.S. DOD’s “Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve,” or ESGR

Developed and launched two 16-week, two-phase apprenticeship programs for JLL that focus on recruiting and training military service members seeking a career in Construction Project Management or as an HVAC Technician. These programs are accredited by the United States Department of Labor

Created online courses in partnership with the JLL Learning & Development team that provide people managers with the skills they need to bridge the military-civilian knowledge gap and best support our JLL Veterans in their career development

Created a fellowship program with Hiring Our Heroes, which is approved by the United States Department of Defense and provides opportunity for separating active military members to work at JLL for 6 weeks, providing them civilian sector job experience to support their post-military career development

Sponsor several Veteran-based charities including wear blue: run to remember featuring the annual Piestewa Challenge and the Rock ‘n Roll San Antonio, Wreaths Across America, Carry the Load, Tuesday’s Children, and Southeastern Guide Dogs

In 2018, JLL was inducted into the United States Department of Defense (DOD) Military Spouse Employment Partnership (MSEP). The MSEP connects military spouses with hundreds of partner employers who have committed to recruit, hire, promote and retain military spouses

Proud partner of the Department of Defense SkillBridge program, connecting service members to real-world job experiences during their final 180 days of active duty
