Current Responsibilities and Experience:
Michelle Westoby is Vice President, Business Strategy of JLL's West Coast Life Sciences Team. Her team of real estate professionals provides seamless real estate strategies to the most sophisticated owners and occupiers of real estate in the world. The team surrounds their clients with an unmatched level of data analytics empowering real estate growth decisions including labor analytics, tax incentive procurement, leasing and ownership tax saving structures, workspace optimization, construction and facility management expertise and creative financial structures.
Using her 20 years of experience, Michelle personally manages many of the team’s and firm’s largest accounts. Michelle is the engine behind her team’s service to their clients and growth within the market – executing at the highest level. Michelle’s background includes oversight and expertise in all facets of the commercial real estate spectrum including capital markets, leasing, property management, data analytics and marketing.
Education and Affiliations:
Michelle holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in International Relations and Spanish from the University of California, Davis. Michelle is actively involved in San Diego Squared (SD2) – a non-profit organization dedicated to increasing diversity in STEM by connecting underrepresented students with the access to education, mentorship and the resources they need to lead the talent pipeline.
