JLL achieves prestigious certifications for environmental, health and safety

CHICAGO, April 25, 2024 – As JLL looks ahead to its annual celebration of Global Safety Week, following World Day for Safety and Health at work on April 28, JLL Work Dynamics is proud to announce that it has achieved the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) certifications to ISO 14001 (environmental) and ISO 45001 (health and safety) globally. ISO certification is a highly regarded, globally recognized framework that verifies JLL’s global health, safety and environment (HSE) management system meets ISO’s standards.

ISO is the global organization responsible for developing and publishing international standards. ISO management system standards are designed to help organizations meet the needs of customers and other stakeholders while meeting statutory and regulatory requirements related to a product or service.

The ISO 14001 certification provides a framework for organizations to design and implement an environmental management system, and continually improve environmental performance. The ISO 45001 specifies requirements for an occupational health and safety (OH&S) management system and establishes a model for organizations to manage risks and improve OH&S performance. To achieve these third-party, independent certifications, Work Dynamics, which provides integrated facilities management services to clients, has demonstrated it manages health, safety and environmental programs at the highest level.

JLL has teamed up with ISSA’s Cleaning Industry Management Standard (CIMS) Green Building program to provide third-party verification and certification to all janitorial suppliers. Cleaning Essentials enables JLL to deliver high-quality services to clients across industries.

Implementing CIMS-Green Building streamlines cleaning operations by following standardized best practices. This results in improved efficiency, reduced costs and optimized resource allocation. Additionally, it implements sustainable cleaning practices by incorporating strategies such as waste reduction and recycling programs, addressing the growing demand for environmentally responsible real estate solutions.
