The Women’s Business Network’s mission is to create a culture of gender partnership to recruit, develop, retain and empower the best women in the industry.
Who we are
Hear from our members on what drives their passion for diversity and inclusion.
Mahnaz Sadri, Manager, Projects, and National Women’s Business Network Co-Lead
I think the transformative, impactful work of our BRG — and all the other BRGs at JLL for that matter — are the perfect example for the value our diverse talent can bring to the table. We’re empowered by JLL and that’s one of the things I like most about our work. I like that we’ve got reach across the Americas and we get to play an active role in recruiting and developing top female talent.
Carrie Brandt, Senior Vice President, Projects, and National Women’s Business Network Co-Lead
I have been a virtual employee for 10 years. I originally joined the WBN many years ago to connect with a network of female professionals across the company and so I could learn more about JLL’s service lines. I recently stepped up to co-lead the WBN so that I can “pay it forward” and participate in empowering, engaging and growing the female talent across JLL.
Marcia Laste, Finance Director, Corporate Solutions
The diversity of ideas, the diversity of participation and how we are growing together as a company through the same goal is what I like most about the work WBN does.
Alanna Phillips, Sr. Director, Project and Development Services
It can be intimidating for a new employee to navigate their way around such a large organization. Our group provides an excellent network for new recruits to connect and learn about the many opportunities JLL provides as well as the means to expand their personal and professional network.
Ashley Burk, Analyst, HR Content Management
JLL is very intentional about the talent they seek. Our inclusive and welcoming culture is important, and our recruiting and onboarding teams do a terrific job of zeroing in on talent that shares our values. Once onboarded, working with one another to accommodate flexible work arrangements is a particularly invaluable attribute of JLL.
Elaine Georgolios, Communications Manager
It is not always easy to draw attention to our differences. Stereotyping can often be so entrenched in culture that we don’t even perceive it. Our BRG brings a new awareness to gender differences. We are moving toward gender parity by educating stakeholders and training individual team members about inclusion and excellence.
