The mission of the Latino Empowerment Resource Network (LERN) is to attract, develop and grow Latinx talent at JLL, becoming more representative of the communities in which we live and work. We provide a platform for employees to connect with the Latinx community, build an extended familia within JLL, and take advantage of the many resources available for career and leadership development.

Our life from a personal and professional standpoint is not a standalone process. It requires collaboration with others. Our business will grow and get richer by the addition of different perspectives, thoughts, ideas, and behaviors. D&I is engrained in our community and like a puzzle, our community is made up of different pieces, that create the whole picture. Separately, those pieces can’t show the entire beauty of the picture.

Our Latino Empowerment Resource Network leaders share their perspectives on Hispanic Heritage Month.
Named and awarded ‘Employee Resource Group of the Year’ by the Hispanic Alliance for Career Enhancement
Ten LERN members were selected to participate in the HACE Annual Leadership Summit and Gala
Collaborated with Hyatt Hotels and KPMG on external Hispanic Heritage Month events in 2017 and 2018 with over 100 people in attendance both years
Partnered with DePaul University to host multiple interactive professional development sessions with leading professors and spearheaded an onsite MBA program
In 2019, four women participated and completed the Mujeres de HACE Leadership course and one completed the HACE Leadership Academy program
Launched Hidden Gems/Gemas Ocultas Internal Campaign to recognize outstanding individuals that make a difference at JLL or in their communities
