Who we are
Hear from members on what drives their passion for diversity and inclusion.
Jennifer Miles, East Coast Regional Senior Director, GenAll Member
“I’ve learned to treat my 30+ career as a journey, not a destination. As in life, we cross paths with many people of different backgrounds, generations included. We gain experience and knowledge through these exchanges, and I recognize that my success is rooted in the diversity of teams and people. One of my most notable mentors is part of Generation X, and I want to share that experience with others. GenAll is a great place to develop a network, be a mentor or mentee, and be intentional!”
Megan VanTonder, Operations Manager UAE, GenAll Program Manager
“GenAll affords me the opportunity to not only support JLL’s D&I initiatives, but also help with some impactful events and drive positive change within the wider community. I want to involve everyone in embracing and celebrating the rich dimensions of diversity.”
Francis Thompson, Art Program Manager, GenAll Comms Committee Member
“GenAll’s inclusive approach to all generations gives way for individual participation through our own events as well as supporting the cultural heritage month celebrations in partnership with other BRGs. My professional expertise in client corporate art collection has given me the opportunity to contribute innovation and education of D&I through the Arts.”
Rachel Cuyler, Vice President, General Manager Property Management, GenAll Inclusion Committee Member
“As I’ve progressed in my career and have had the opportunity to work with different generations, it became very clear that understanding generation specific values, perception of work, and communication styles is needed to create a cohesive and inclusive team. I developed an appreciation for generational diversity and want to bring to light these differences that can bring value and opportunity to our teams and clients.”
GenAll and the Parent and Caregiver Experience Business Resource Group partnered to sponsor an event around having difficult conversations with older parents and loved ones on topics such as elder care, driving, wills, etc.
GenAll and Building Pride partnered to host a program exploring art culture as a fixture of the LGBTQ+ community and used it as a platform to discuss the community’s past, present and future.
GenAll launched a virtual coffee program to facilitate 1:1 career conversations across generations. This initiative encourages colleagues to dedicate time to stay connected with GenAll, meet new people and enhance their networks.
