Puerto Rico
Office Report,
H2 2021
After enduring a fiscal crisis, an extended recession, a multitude of natural disasters, and a global pandemic, Puerto Rico has continued to be resilient. Return to work and remote work have been largely beneficial to the Island, pushing office space demand and allowing Puerto Rico to become a hub for remote workers across the globe, and recent activity in the San Juan market have demonstrated that remote work has not eradicated demand for office space.
Following the pandemic, the flexibility to work from home will be seamlessly integrated into working life, benefiting both employees and employers alike. Office space will continue to evolve and will potentially play an even greater role in driving corporate well-being and productivity. Moreover, working from home will allow for Puerto Rico to become a hub for remote workers across the globe, for those wanting to work hard whilst enjoying everything the Island has to offer.
