Chicago's overall vacancy continues to compress into historically low territory falling to 3.5%. With nearly 46 million s.f. of absorption for the year, we have hit a new high water mark. Several large corporate occupiers expanded within the market, taking on additional space either for safety stock inventory or to keep up with robust consumer spending.
