Current Responsibilities:

Whit Hunter is Senior Vice President for JLL Philadelphia. Whit contributes and is responsible for the continued growth of the firm’s Philadelphia area presence, specifically relating to tenant and landlord representation. Whit specializes in leasing, acquisition, and disposition of commercial real estate in the greater Philadelphia market.

Experience:

With over 30 years of direct experience in Philadelphia area commercial real estate brokerage, the past 20+ years with JLL, Whit has had the privilege to represent a broad range of corporations and institutional clients in various Philadelphia area markets, developing occupancy strategies and implementing solutions. Whit directs the leasing teams of several complex Philadelphia area properties, improving occupancy and increasing activity. He also leads representation teams of complex occupancy solutions on behalf of tenants. This unique perspective, combining both the landlord’s and tenant’s, has been instrumental to his success. Whit has been nominated several times for Philadelphia’s deal of the year award, has been recognized frequently by CoStar as a Power Broker and by JLL as a Top Achiever year in and year out.

Education:

Whit has a MBA in Finance from Villanova University and a BA in Economics from Denison University. He is a graduate of the Business on Board program of the Arts & Business Council for Greater Philadelphia. Whit is a licensed Associate Real Estate Broker in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Involvement:

Whit is a past President and Board Director of the Tri-State Commercial Realtors Alliance. He is also a past member of the Board of Counselors of the Historical Society of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Chester County Commercial Industrial Investment Council. Whit is also involved in committees with Inglis House, a wheelchair community.
