Current responsibilities

Wesley Edwards joined JLL's Norfolk, Virginia office in August 2013 with a solid 30 year track record of successful representation of regional and national clients in a wide array of real estate activities.  Wesley's business focus is in the office and industrial markets where he provides his clients real estate services which include the development and implementation of both leasing and sales acquisition and disposition programs.

Experience

Most recently, Wesley was a Senior Vice President at Harvey Lindsay Commercial Real Estate and Advantis Real Estate Services Company in the Hampton Roads market.  Wesley has been recognized with multiple Deal of the Year awards in the Hampton Roads market.  Major recent transactions Wesley has been involved in include the Social Security Administration Office build-to-suit, the sale of the World Trade Center office building, the Sale of the Cooper Vision Manufacturing Facility, the sale of Parkway West complex and the Airport Industrial Park Complex.  Wesley has also completed recent significant leases with Virginia International Terminals, US Attorneys, McGuire Woods, Vandeventer Black and the New York Times, and he shares leasing responsibility for The RMR Group's extensive Hampton Roads portfolio.

Wesley's prior real estate experience includes work in the Washington D.C. market with GT Realty and Management Company as the Principal Broker with direct responsibility for the development and leasing activities for the GT Group's 2,500,000 s.f. office and industrial space portfolio and with Transwestern as a Senior Vice President and Team Leader for the leasing of a 2,000,000 s.f. institutional portfolio.

Education and affiliations

Wesley is a graduate of Bridgewater College with a B.A. degree in political science.  Wesley is also a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) of the National Association of Realtors, a member of Hampton Roads Association for Commercial Real Estate and a past board member of the March of Dimes, Hampton Roads.
