Current Responsibilities
Vijay is a Managing Director and US Financial Services Sector Lead in JLL’s Consulting practice. He has more than 17 years of experience leading strategy development, operational excellence, and Future of Work strategies for corporate real estate (CRE) and workplace organizations. Vijay works with global, national, and regional financial services companies to transform their workplace, drive cost savings, improve productivity and create high-performing CRE teams.
Experience
Vijay helps companies reimagine how they work using human-centered design to develop best in class physical and virtual experiences. He advises his clients on the integration of workforce strategies, workplace transformation, portfolio strategies and organizational design. Vijay is engaged when organizations are navigating a major change such as globalization, centralization, merger and acquisition, or a change in operating model. He regularly counsels clients on aligning their corporate real estate and workplace strategy to enterprise and business goals and advancing the future of work.
Prior to joining JLL Consulting, Vijay led energy and sustainability for Deutsche Bank’s Americas portfolio, with responsibility for integrating sustainable practices across all areas of CRE. Prior to that, Vijay worked for Edelman, where he led sustainability consulting and employee engagement programs.
Education and Affiliations
Vijay holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Carnegie Mellon University. He is a LEED Accredited Professional, a certified Six Sigma Green Belt and trained in the LaMarsh Change Management methodology. In addition, Vijay serves on the Board of Directors of the Kennedy Children’s Center, a non-profit dedicated to supporting children with developmental disabilities in New York City’s underserved communities.
