Current Responsibilities:

Based in Philadelphia, PA, Tyler is the regional lead of the Integrated Portfolio Services (IPS) group and the Philadelphia representative on JLL’s Life Sciences Advisory Council, a group of the leading JLL life sciences brokers in the core life science markets across the nation. Tyler is responsible for (lease and sale) transaction and portfolio management and overall service delivery for clients with significant local, national and international real estate holdings. Current life sciences clients include the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), Spark Therapeutics, Iovance Biotherapeutics, Panorama Medicine, BGI, Lonza, and FMC Corporation. 

Experience:

Prior to joining JLL, Tyler was a Director in the Corporate Services and Capital Markets Groups at Newmark Knight Frank (Philadelphia). In this dual role, Tyler completed numerous investment sale projects in the Greater Philadelphia area, including office, industrial and ground lease sales, along with the day-to-day transaction and portfolio management activities for Wayne, PA-based SunGard Financial Systems. Since 2009, Tyler has completed more than 60 lease and sale-leaseback transactions around the world on behalf of SunGard. Additionally, Tyler has helped to identify, develop, and initiate real estate related cost savings strategies across SunGard’s portfolio of owned and leased properties.

Prior to Newmark Knight Frank, Tyler spent two years as a consultant for SSA, a strategic consulting firm specializing in cost reduction and sales enhancement for Fortune 1000 companies. Prior to his work at SSA, Tyler worked for Standard & Poor’s corporate value consulting practice in Philadelphia, one of the largest valuation and consulting companies in the world. At Standard & Poor’s, Tyler provided clients with valuation services related to tax and financial reporting, purchase price allocations, mergers and acquisitions, and fresh start accounting.

Education:

Tyler earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree at Bucknell University, where he majored in both Economics and History. He is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) Candidate, as well as a member of CoreNet. In addition, Tyler is a member of both the Urban Land Institute (ULI) for the Philadelphia District and the National Association of Office & Industrial Properties (NAIOP).
