Current responsibilities 

Travis James, a Managing Director with JLL, provides real estate advisory services to clients throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. His career spans more than 11 years and  his current responsibilities include providing strategic and tactical consultative real estate services.  He is well-versed in leveraging the enormous resources within JLL for the benefit of his clients.

Travis runs the High-Growth Technology practice group in San Francisco, which was established to assist venture backed technology companies with their needs for creative and flexible real estate solutions.

Education and affiliations

Travis is originally from Sacramento, CA and moved to the Bay Area to attend Stanford University in Palo Alto. 

He earned honors at Stanford and played on the varsity soccer team for four years, helping to lead the Cardinal to two NCAA Final Fours during his career. 

Travis also competed on the Stanford football team, and holds the school record for all-time field goal percentage (100%...1 for 1 against San Jose State). 

He graduated in 2002 with a degree in International Relations with a focus on Comparative Political and Historical Analysis. 

Travis is also a member of the Non-Profit Practice Group which focuses on representing the specialized needs and practical considerations of not-for-profit companies in San Francisco.
