Current responsibilities
Travis James, an Executive Managing Director with JLL, provides real estate advisory and portfolio management services for his clients throughout world. His career spans more than 18 years and his current responsibilities include providing strategic and tactical consultative real estate services. Travis specializes in Bay Area wide transactions and managing global multi-market portfolios for technology companies. He is well-versed in leveraging the enormous resources within JLL for the benefit of his clients.
Travis runs the High-Growth Technology practice group in San Francisco, which was established to assist venture backed technology companies with their needs for creative and flexible real estate solutions.
Education and Affiliations
Travis attended Stanford University in Palo Alto.
He earned honors at Stanford and played on the varsity soccer team for four years, helping to lead the Cardinals to two NCAA Final Fours during his career.
Travis also competed on the Stanford football team and holds the school record for all-time field goal percentage (100%...1 for 1 against San Jose State).
He graduated in 2002 with a degree in International Relations with a focus on Comparative Political and Historical Analysis.
