Tony leads a team of talented individuals to deliver an integrated multi-disciplined service to clients globally in the financial services industry. He specializes in transformational and collaborative client partnerships that bring to life best-in-class workplace practices, develop engaged and passionate top-talent teams, and creates focused real estate strategies that align with his client’s goals.
Experience:
Prior to his current role, Tony was SOLID Surface Care, Inc.’s Chief Operating Officer. He was the Senior Executive responsible for overseeing and implementing the overarching business operations strategy to drive ongoing growth and profitability. In this role, he was responsible for the company's execution of services, technical excellence, safety, IT, finance, sales, and human resources. With over two decades of experience, SOLID® Surface Care, Inc. is the nation’s largest self-performing facility care company. His SOLID team maintained over 700 million square feet of commercial flooring annually with over 450 employees within 50 North American markets and Puerto Rico.
Before SOLID, Tony was Senior Vice President, Corporate Solutions, Americas, at Colliers, the world’s 4th largest real estate company. At Colliers International, He led multi-regional (APAC, EMEA, LATAM, and NAM) teams that provide best-in-class services to worldwide clients across Portfolio Strategy, Transaction Management, Project Management, Lease Administration, Consulting, Innovation, Facilities Management, and Technology Solutions. Serving multiple verticals and 2 of the most profitable accounts in the organization – Technology (Microsoft) and Healthcare (Alcon) – his focus was execution, efficiency, and service.
Prior to Colliers, Tony was the Vice President of Real Estate and Security of Atrium Health. He was the shared services executive to multiple lines of business across Atrium, leading teams and acting as the primary strategic relationship manager for real estate, aligning space and facilities planning, delivery, security, and management with the needs of the business and patients. Responsible for 18.5 million square feet (400+ properties, 977 acres of land), real estate portfolio in North and South Carolina supporting 33,000 teammates. He managed the creation and execution of a $140 million operating budget, accounting for $80 million in annual real estate deal flow.
Before joining Atrium in 2013, Tony served various executive roles with Bank of America during his eighteen-year financial industry career. He has supported various real estate initiatives, including leading the conversion of nationwide signage as a result of the NationsBank and Bank of America merger in 1999. He also served as an Asset Manager for the Charlotte portfolio and a Quality Engineer on the nationwide Quality and Productivity team when he received his Six Sigma Green Belt in 2003. Tony was Project Director for the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. In this role, he managed a staff of 26 Facility Partner Project Managers in a 23 million square foot portfolio. Tony was also the Property Executive for the Charlotte Region, managing a nine million square feet real estate portfolio in Charlotte, N.C., supporting 20,000 associates. He managed the creation and execution of a $210 million operating budget and a $22 million capital plan.
Education and Affiliations:
Tony received his B.A. in Psychology from Davidson College, Class of ’92, and Master of Corporate Real Estate from CoreNet Global, Class of ’13. He is a graduate of Leadership Charlotte (Class XXV), 2005. In 2009, he received the Alumni Service Award from Davidson College for rendering a high degree of service to the institution. He was also the recipient for 2007 Charlotte Business Journal’s 40 under 40 and the recipient for Spirit Award of Excellence, Issued by Bank of America, received for producing results as a leader and recognized for being placed in the top 1% of all associates in the corporation.

Served on the boards of several non-profit organizations such as 100 Black Men of Greater Charlotte (Treasurer), Carolinas Chapter of CoreNet Global (President), The Arts and Science Council (Board Chair), Urban League of Central Carolinas, and Charlotte Chamber of Commerce.
Tony also received Duke Energy’s 2011 Power Partner Award for reducing electricity costs by 18% in offices and buildings.
In 2009, he received the Alumni Service Award from Davidson College for rendering a high degree of service to the institution.
