Tom is a Managing Director of Jones Lang LaSalle's Los Angeles office. The majority of Tom's career has been dedicated to strategic planning and implementation for large portfolios, in both the private and public sector, with an emphasis on build to suits, development consulting, developer competition and debt-related due diligence and restructures. He has represented clients in more than 8 million square feet in over 18 states of build-to-suit projects and more than 20,000 acres of land development consulting, valued at over $1 billion.
Tom responsibilities also included strategic planning for large real estate portfolios, technology due diligence and implementation, and operating expense analyses. Tom led one of the largest corporate real estate initiatives in the country in evaluating the debt and equity for a 10 million SF portfolio occupied by the Kroger company. Through this and other projects, Tom has broad experience in negotiating strategies with institutional owners as well as Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs).
Tom attended the University of California, Los Angeles School of Engineering -College Honors scholarship
Tom is active in IFMA, ICSC and CoreNet Global and has authored articles published in both CoreNet and Real Estate Finance publications, addressing the ownership and leasing elements of real estate portfolios.
