Current Responsibilities

Todd is a 27-year real estate professional. He currently holds the position of Executive Vice President/Group Manager at Jones Lang LaSalle. He joined JLL in August 2012 to lead Minnesota Property Management with responsibilities including recruitment of talent, solicitation of assignments, and supervision of property management business line with P&L accountability. Todd is responsible for a team of 50+ real estate professionals overseeing a commercial real estate portfolio totaling more than 12.5 million square feet for institutional, entrepreneurial, and corporate owners. He is a strong leader with a record of executing strategies to satisfy customer business objectives and achieve goals of the firm.

Experience

Prior to joining JLL, Mr. Balsiger was the Vice President/Director of Suburban Properties for the Minnesota office of Transwestern. Prior to Transwestern, Todd held the position of Vice President of Development at Steiner Development. In this role he was accountable for the sourcing of commercial investment opportunities and provided financial pro forma and market analyses to support proposed projects. Prior to Steiner Development, Mr. Balsiger worked for Kennedy Wilson Minnesota Management, Inc. (KWMMI) for nine (9) years where he managed two (2) residential high-rise properties in downtown Minneapolis before joining the commercial team as Property Manager for the Campbell Mithun Tower; a 42 story Class A high-rise in Minneapolis.
