Career summary
Tim is a senior managing director in the San Diego office of JLL Capital Markets, Americas. He joined JLL as part of the HFF acquisition and has more than 33 years of experience in commercial real estate finance. He is primarily responsible for originating joint venture, equity and debt transactions throughout the western United States. Tim’s primary focus is on hospitality, life science, and multifamily transactions. During the course of his career, Tim has completed in excess of $7 billion in real estate transactions, across multiple platforms and product types.
Tim opened the San Diego office of HFF in 1997. Prior to HFF, he was the vice president at CB Commercial Mortgage Banking, responsible for the origination of debt and equity transactions. He graduated with honors in business economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara and holds an MBA in finance and real estate from San Diego State University. He is a member in the local chapters of the ULI and NAIOP. In addition, he serves on the advisory board of The Corky McMillin Real Estate Center at San Diego State University and on the advisory board of the San Diego Botanic Garden (SDBG).
