Current responsibilities
Terry is responsible for overseeing the strategic development of the industrial focus and execution of industrial and office-technical transactions including acquisitions, dispositions and build-to-suits. 

Additionally, he serves as a member of the national new business development team, is a member of JLL’s Industrial Council, Supply Chain & Logistics Team, and leads JLL’s Railroad Task Force. 

Experience
With more than 39 years’ experience working in the industrial real estate sector, Terr leads JLL’s industrial group for the Dallas area. 

Prior to joining JLL, Terry was with First Industrial Realty Trust leading the company’s development initiatives throughout Texas.

Prior to joining First Industrial, he held senior level posts at Dallas-based real estate firms, including Henry S. Miller, Foster-Darrow and Darrow-Hildreth.  


He also served as Managing Partner and Principal of the industrial services group at GVA Cawley, a full-service real estate brokerage and consulting firm. 

Earlier, he was President of Argent Property Company, a regional commercial real estate firm focused on developing business parks for Corporate America.

Education
Terry earned a Bachelor of Science at Texas Tech University. 

Affiliations
An active member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) and the North Texas Council of Realtors, he has received several industry awards during the course of his career.

These include the “Largest Industrial Transaction Award,” “Most Creative Transaction Award” and the prestigious “Stemmons Service Award” from the North Texas Council of Realtors. 

He frequently speaks about the industrial real estate sector and related topics.
