Current responsibilities:

Based in Washington, DC, Tammy is the Director of Research for the DC market. She leads the research platform, which includes data & analytics, thought leadership, and client engagement. Key objectives include crafting clear and compelling market stories that are grounded in timely and accurate data.

Experience:

Tammy returned to JLL after leading Gartner’s Corporate Real Estate and Advisory Practice. While previously at JLL, Tammy led the Research Advisory platform at a national level and was instrumental in conceptualizing and implementing the growth strategy for that business line. Prior to JLL, she was the Vice President of Planning and Development for the Capitol Riverfront BID. She started her real estate career as market analyst, working with first AECOM then RCLCO to provide private and public sector clients with market analytics that drove development strategies.

Education and affiliations:

Tammy holds a bachelor’s in business administration from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master’s in City Planning from MIT. She is a member of the Urban Land Institute.

Outside interests:

Tammy is an urban planner and enjoys exploring cities by foot and bike. In the last couple of years, she’s had the pleasure of bringing her daughter along on these adventures and seeing old sites through the new eyes of a toddler.
