Current Responsibilities
Steve Spartin is a Vice Chairman for JLL in Washington, DC. Steve’s entire focus is on tenant representation and specializing in strategic planning, transaction structuring, financial analysis and portfolio management. His responsibilities include strategy implementation, lease and purchase & sale review/negotiations, and a special emphasis on the financial implications of transaction structuring. Steve has been instrumental in helping to develop and implement sophisticated real estate strategies to reduce costs and mitigate risk.
Experience
Steve has transacted over 30M square feet, totaling more than $3B in value through his representation of corporations on a local, national and international basis. Steve’s unique expertise is the representation of automotive manufacturers and automotive battery manufacturers, and has been instrumental in incorporating supply chain and infrastructure due diligence into clients final decision and ultimate investment agreements. Through this work, Steve has led some of JLL’s most complicated projects and client accounts.
Education and Affiliations
Steve earned his B.A. from Elon University where he lettered on the football team and was the head coach of the lacrosse team.
Steve was born and raised in the Washington, DC metropolitan area and is an active member of the community and charities.
