Current Responsibilities

Mr. Schwegman leads the Indianapolis market for JLL and is the chairman of JLL Americas Industrial Council. He has extensive experience in the areas of site selection, corporate client transactions, agency leasing, build-to-suit developments, surplus property dispositions and investment sales. Mr. Schwegman has maintained very active status in both supply chain and real estate industry associations.

Experience

Prior to joining JLL, Mr. Schwegman was a Principal of Meridian Real Estate. In addition, he has also been a senior associate with Trammell Crow Company. A real estate professional since 1998, he has closed multiple billions in transaction value and has served, among others, Prologis, Geodis, Scannell Properties, Yusen Logistics, Clarion Partners, Nuveen, Hartz and Granite REIT.

  • Recently assisted LSC Communications in 4 leases totaling over 2.1 million SF
  • Maintains market leading share of modern “big box” agency projects in Indianapolis
  • Represented DHL in the purchase of 1 million SF in Whiteland, Indiana
  • Represent Clarion Partners in the purchase, development and lease-up of 2.2 million SF in Plainfield and 800,000 SF in Greenfield, Indiana
  • Assisted Geodis in multiple lease transactions of over 6 million SF in Plainfield and Monrovia, Indiana.
