Current responsibilities
Based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Sherie focuses on restructuring retail leases for clients to help maximize the value of their real estate holdings. Sherie has immense retail experience negotiating leases to secure the most profitable deals. She has established strong relationships with many of the leading landlords around the world and understands the varied impactful approach needed for different groups. Her experience is extremely helpful to clients when negotiating terminations and lease restructures.
Experience
Sherie draws from a wide range of skills assembled through 30 years of shopping center experience. Prior to joining the Lease Restructuring Team, Sherie was a leasing representative at JLL responsible for overall development and execution of leasing strategies for her portfolio of centers. During this time, she successfully led leasing and remerchandising initiatives for retail centers and cultivated superior relationships with a variety of types of retailers including local, regional, national and international tenants.
Before joining JLL in January 2000, Sherie was the Vice President of Leasing for Boston Financial overseeing properties from coast to coast. Sherie’s additional experience includes serving as Vice President at General Growth Properties (GGP) with concentration in the Southeastern United States. Additionally, Sherie represented The O’Connor Group with focus on Texas real estate. Sherie has developed extensive expertise within all facets of retail real estate to include regional malls, power centers, specialty projects and tenant representation.
Education and affiliations
Sherie attended Metropolitan State University in Denver, Colorado. She holds a real estate license in the states of Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky and Texas and is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). Sherie has accumulated a variety of JLL Awards over the years to include - JLL Club Award, Top Gun Award, Leasing Excellence Award, Leasing Productivity Award, Excellence in Client Satisfaction, Team of the Year, Excellence in Property Management, JLL Gold Achiever and JLL Top Achiever.
