Current responsibilities:
Sean Coghlan serves as Global Head of Research & Strategy for Capital Markets at JLL. In this role, he oversees the firm’s Capital Markets Research & Strategy team and strategic priorities globally. Sean is a member of the Global Research Executive Board and works in close partnership with the Global Capital Markets Board. Sean’s work lies at the intersection of macro and micro market analytics, asset pricing and investment strategies and its implications for the firm’s professionals and clients across all asset sectors. He is based in the firm’s New York office.
Experience:
Sean previously served as a Senior Director in JLL’s Americas Research team, holding various regional, national and local roles over his 12-year career at the firm. Most recently, Sean was the Head of Investor Research at JLL in the Americas, with overall responsibility for leading the Americas Investor Research platform. Sean additionally has experience leading local teams, including JLL’s New York Research platform.
Education and affiliates:
Sean received his Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where he concentrated in Real Estate and Management. He additionally completed Masters-level coursework at the Rotterdam School of Management in the fields of International and Strategic Management.
