Current responsibilities
Sarah Thorson has more than 14 years of experience in the construction industry. Currently, Sarah is responsible for operations of the Portland project and development services team. Sarah's team manages occupancy planning, relocation, build-to-suit and other real estate projects for various sectors, including commercial, hospitality, healthcare, and retail. Sarah is a strong business partner responsible for all phases of visioning, planning, design, workplace strategy, construction service delivery and client relationship management. Sarah has a proven track record of development and management of high-performance teams, inclusive of design professionals, contractors and any specialized vendors required for each specific project to successfully meet and exceed client's expectations.
Experience
Prior to joining JLL, Sarah was a Project Executive at Howard S. Wright, overseeing commercial construction business strategy and operations of the Special Projects Group (SPG) Division. In this role, Sarah managed, developed, and grew the SPG team, led strategic pursuits, established new and maintained existing client accounts, and was integral in supporting the Division's day-to-day construction operations. In 2014, Sarah was recognized as one of Daily Journal of Commerce's Women of Vision.
