Current responsibilities

Robert Trapp came over with the Argianas & Associates appraisal team in January 2023 to join Chicago’s Complex Real Estate Analysis & Litigation Support Group to collaborate on major litigation support/valuation cases.

Experience

Prior to joining JLL, Bob spent nine years with Argianas & Associates, performing appraisals of complex properties in the Midwest U.S., including trophy properties such as the Wanamaker Building in downtown Philadelphia, the Kensington Business Park in Mount Prospect, IL, the One Financial Center in Chicago, IL, The Arco Tower office building, LA, CA, Trammel Crow office building, Dallas, TX, Kenwood Town Centre super-regional mall, Cincinnati, OH as well as super-regional shopping centers, crane buildings, conservation easements, hotels/motels, senior living centers and special purpose properties including college campuses and a horse racetrack. Prior to working for Argianas, Trapp was the commercial appraisal manager for 11 years at Active Appraisal Services in Milwaukee, where he performed commercial appraisal and was responsible for the review and training of commercial appraisers.

Bob has been involved with eminent domain appraisals since 2001 in Wisconsin & Illinois, for government agencies and property owners.

Bob entered the appraisal industry in 1984 and has worked for national firms including Real Estate Research Corporation, American Appraisal’s Real Estate Advisory Group and Laundauer Associates.

Trapp has performed appraisals for lending, for assessment appeal, eminent domain, partnership disputes, estate settlement and for litigation support.
