Current responsibilities
Robert Dowdall serves as a Senior Director for JLL Healthcare Value and Risk Advisory. In this role, he focuses on providing a valuation for properties in the healthcare sector, including medical office buildings, medical ground leases, free-standing emergency departments, hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, diagnostic imaging centers, senior housing facilities, and physical therapy centers throughout the United States.
Mr. Dowdall’s valuation experience includes determining Fair Market Value and Fair Market Rent for Stark Law compliance, financing, possible sale or purchase, allocation of purchase price, and internal planning purposes.
Experience
Prior to joining JLL in 2021, Mr. Dowdall was with VMG Health in Dallas, Texas, where he developed appraisal and consulting experience involving a wide range of medical properties. Mr. Dowdall has also worked as a commercial generalist, appraising office, industrial, retail, multi-family, and land sites among others. He has successfully completed numerous real estate-related courses and seminars sponsored by the Appraisal Institute.
