Current Responsibilities
Based in Los Angeles, Bob is responsible for overall development and execution of leasing strategies for properties located in the West Coast. Bob has strong knowledge of property management, operations and marketing to better assist clients with overall asset goals through the implementation of a strategic merchandising and leasing plan. Additionally, Bob is responsible for developing and maintaining strong retailer relationships. He is consistently recognized by the company for leasing productivity.
Experience
Bob brings more than 38 years of regional mall experience to the firm, including 18 prior years with JLL and has an established reputation for leasing successes on challenged properties. He was most recently with GGP for three years as a Senior Leasing Director working on their lower-tier properties in order to get them re-positioned for sale. Prior to joining JLL, he was employed with The Hahn Company for 14 years as a Regional Leasing Director and consistently surpassed leasing goals. During his tenure, Bob was an integral team member responsible for increased occupancy, the upgrade of the tenant mix and raising NOI on projects including San Jose's Eastridge Mall, The Meadows Mall in Las Vegas, Layton Hills Mall, Layton UT, The Mall of Victor Valley, Victorville, CA., Chico Mall, Chico, CA, Mesilla Valley Mall, Las Cruces, NM, Rogue Valley Mall, Medford, OR and Serramonte Center, Daly City, CA.
Bob has particular expertise leasing challenged properties, ones with extremely low occupancy levels and poor market presence. Through insightful re-merchandising and strong national retail relationships, Bob has been able to upgrade the merchandise mix and increase occupancy significantly at these centers; making those centers a point of difference.
Education and Affiliations
Bob holds a degree in real estate with a minor in marketing. He is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). He is a licensed real estate broker in the state of California
