Current responsibilities 

Robert Wells, ASA, is a Senior Vice President within JLL’s Complex Real Estate Analysis and Litigation Support team under JLL Value and Risk Advisory. Mr. Wells’ duties include overseeing the appraisal process for assignments covering a diverse group of complex property types, uses, and users. Assignments include all property types, including industrial, office, retail, development land, multifamily, and special-use properties such as rocket launch facilities, golf courses, marinas, historically-designated properties and others. Robert has appraised properties in most U.S. states, and on six continents. He has also served as an expert witness defending his appraisals. Clients served include governments,  large public and private corporations, law firms, private property owners, financial institutions, and pension funds, among others. Assignments have been completed for a variety of uses, including litigation support, ad valorem tax, financial accounting, financing, insurance, estate tax planning, and purchase/sale.


Previously, Robert was a Director at Duff & Phelps, LLC (now Kroll), holding managerial responsibilities in the Milwaukee office. In 2015 Duff & Phelps acquired American Appraisal Associates where Mr. Wells began his professional career and rose to level of Director. Notable postings included Manager of Central European Real Estate Valuation, based in Budapest, and responsible for offices in Hungary, Poland, and the Czech Republic. Mr. Wells has managed relationships of clients of all sizes in delivering complex real property projects on a wide range of business sizes and types.
