Rob Baker joined JLL in 2010 and is a Transaction Advisor and Financial Analyst in the Real Estate Advisory Services Group. He manages lease and sale transactions for Thermo Fisher Scientific, Ally Financial and EverBank as well as performs financial analyses for his clients. He has executed over 200 transactions across the globe. Some of Rob’s additional responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, and qualitative & quantitative analysis.
Rob has been involved with multiple lease transactions on behalf of Thermo Fisher Scientific, MetLife, Unisys, and Ally Financial throughout North America, EMEA, Latin America, and APAC. He has performed financial modeling of acquisitions and dispositions for Deutsche Bank (30M SF Portfolio), MasterCard, and other financial institutions. Rob worked with Frontier Communications to analyze their 5M SF real estate portfolio and developed a detailed corporate real estate action plan that resulted in a 22% net financial savings or $48M for their company over a 5-year period.
Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle, he worked in corporate finance for Towers Watson. In this role, he supported their commercial real estate division in developing quarterly forecasts and annual budgets for their real estate occupancy costs and capital expenditure. Additionally, he built financial models to illustrate how real estate decisions affected the Profit and Loss statements of the Business Units involved.
Rob earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Accounting from Saint Vincent College and an MBA from Temple University. Rob is currently a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in Pennsylvania and Chairman of the National Analyst Board.
