Current responsibilities:
Richard Scholtz serves as a Senior Director of JLL Value and Risk Advisory in the United States. In this role, he is focused on conducting appraisals and consulting assignments. Mr. Scholtz has been actively engaged in real estate valuation and consulting since 1998.
Experience:
Prior to joining JLL in late 2016, Mr. Scholtz was with a national valuation firm, where he most recently served as a Senior Analyst in the Austin office. During his tenure with the firm, he developed appraisal and consulting expertise concentrated in specialized assignments involving corridor valuation and multi-parcel eminent domain projects throughout Texas. Analysis on valuations has been performed on various properties including, but not limited to, single and multi-tenant industrial buildings, low-rise office buildings, mixed-used facilities, absolute net leased properties, ranches, and vacant land.
Clients served include private and institutional lenders, private and public utilities, and public agencies. Assignments have been performed for condemnation purposes, financing, and due diligence support. Valuations and market studies have been performed on proposed and existing structures.
