Current Responsibilities:
Mike Sample, a Managing Director with JLL, joined as a specialist in tenant representation providing real estate advisory services to clients throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and abroad. His responsibilities include account management, strategy development and leading negotiations.
With close to a decade of experience, Mike is an integral part of the High-Growth Technology Practice Group in San Francisco which was established to assist venture backed technology companies with their needs for creative and flexible real estate solutions.
Experience:
Prior to entering into real estate, Mike worked at Salesforce.com focusing within the media and technology sectors.Through his experience, he gained invaluable insights into the culture and organizational structure of a rapidly scaling company and brings that perspective when working with his clients.
Education and Affiliations:
Mike holds a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies: Organizational Behavior in Business from the University of California, Berkeley, graduating in 2009. He played on the varsity water polo team for four years, helping the Bears win two NCAA Championships and becoming the captain of the team his senior year. He was the recipient of the Walter A. Haas Jr. Community Service Award while on the team and during his senior year the Golden Bear Award for exemplifying an ideal teammate and leader. His accomplishments in the pool have continued through the masters level having recently helped The Olympic Club of San Francisco win a Masters World Championship in Budapest, Hungary in the Summer of 2017.
