Current responsibilities

Michael Stavinoha serves as a Director for JLL Value and Risk Advisory and is a member of the National Multi-Housing group. In this role, Mr. Stavinoha performs valuation services of multi-housing and mixed-use assets, including a wide array of existing and proposed conventional apartment types, affordable housing, workforce housing, student housing, and alternative asset types. Mr. Stavinoha is responsible for developing appraisal reports, providing consulting services, and mentoring junior team members. Mr. Stavinoha specializes in the valuation of institutional-grade multifamily and mixed-use asset types across the country and is focused on driving growth in this sub-sector. 

Experience

Prior to joining JLL, Mr. Stavinoha was in similar roles with other national firms including Cushman & Wakefield, BBG, and a prior stint at JLL. Mr. Stavinoha has provided valuation services across a wide variety of property types including multi-housing, office, retail, hospitality, and other alternative asset types. Mr. Stavinoha’s experience encompasses a wide range of commercial real estate engagements, locally and nationally, for a variety of purposes including financing, feasibility, financial reporting, asset valuation for funds, estate taxation, ad valorem taxation, and eminent domain. Clients served include conventional and CMBS lenders, bridge and GSE lenders, corporations, insurance companies, private owners/operators and developers, government entities, pension funds, and REITs.
