Megan Matthews serves as Managing Director for JLL's South Central Region Property Management business. She is responsible for overseeing 120 employees and 38 million total square feet of office, industrial and mixed-use assets in Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio and Kansas City. Megan is able to provide customized solutions to her clients by leveraging the size of the portfolio, the experience of her team and JLL’s tremendous purchasing power
Megan has over 19 years of real estate management experience.
Prior to her current role, Megan was with JLL in Atlanta where she served as Senior Vice President, Group Manager of a 2.6 million square foot portfolio. Her team consisted of six managers who oversaw day-to-day operations for 12 buildings on behalf of six clients.
While in Atlanta , Megan won the JLL Hall of Fame Award, the highest property management award given for superior performance over at least the prior 10 years. She also supported the Atlanta JLL Office Investor Services new business team, helping to source and develop new client relationships.
Previously, Megan served as Vice President, Group Manager of 3344 Peachtree/Sovereign, a 850,000 square foot Class AA mixed-use asset in the Atlanta neighborhood of Buckhead. The property was comprised of office, condo and restaurant components. She was responsible for all daily operations, construction management and financial reporting of the three ownership entities controlling the complex mixed-use asset. Prior to that, Megan served as Vice President, Group Manager on several client accounts in Atlanta. She was responsible for over 2,400,000 square feet of Class A and B office and mixed-use property representing eleven buildings containing over 200 tenant spaces.
A year prior to her Group Manager role, Megan served as Vice President, General Manager for 630,000 square feet of Class A and B office property representing five buildings. She was awarded the 2005 General Manager of the Year for the southeast division.
Megan earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a Finance concentration from the University of Georgia. She is a current member of CREW Dallas where she sits on the Membership Committee. She is a current member of BOMA Dallas where she holds a principal membership and is a member of the BOMA Dallas Foundation Board of Trustees. She is the Executive Sponsor for the JLL Dallas Women’s Business Network. Megan was recognized in 2016 and 2017 as a JLL Top Gun, which recognizes the top revenue producers of the firm.
