Matt Riley re-joined JLL’s Hotels & Hospitality Group in 2024 after spending over six years with the firm beginning in 2014. Currently based in Los Angeles as a Senior Director, Mr. Riley focuses on full-service investment sales and has advised on over $2.0 billion of hotel investment sale and debt placement transactions throughout the United States since 2014. Mr. Riley works on the West Coast Hotel Investment Sales team, which handles transactions across the Western Region.
Prior to joining JLL, Mr. Riley worked as an Equity, Debt & Structured Finance Analyst within Cushman & Wakefield’s Global Hospitality Group. Prior to this role, Mr. Riley worked as a Financial Analyst for Pacifica Companies, based in San Diego. Mr. Riley received a B.B.A. from the University of San Diego where he majored in Finance and minored in Real Estate. Mr. Riley is an Arizona and California licensed real estate salesperson and is an active member of several hospitality real estate organizations.
