Current responsibilities
Matt Montague serves as a Senior Managing Director at the global commercial real estate firm JLL.
As a member of the Fort Worth brokerage team, Matt focuses on securing commercial real estate solutions for his clients. In addition to his core focus in assisting office clients, Matt also provides guidance in site selection transactions on behalf of developers, acquisition, and disposition transactions. He also has deep experience in assisting clients with their needs in the area’s growing industrial market.
Experience
Matt joined the Staubach Company in 2008 and has remained with JLL since its acquisition of the Staubach Company in the spring of 2008. Over his 15 years in commercial real estate, Matt has had the opportunity to work on behalf of his clients in Tarrant County, as well as other markets across the US and around the world.
During Matt’s tenure at JLL, he has had the opportunity to work on behalf of a variety of companies and over a wide range of industries. Notably, Bell Helicopter Textron, Simpli.fi, Encana Resources, Six Flags, Star-Telegram, United Way of Tarrant County, Range Resources, BBVA Compass Bank, Moncrief Cancer Institute, UT Southwestern, Southern Land Company, and Ball Corporation.
Education and affiliations
He attended the University of Oklahoma and graduated in 2008 with a BBA in accounting from the Price College of Business.
Having grown up in Fort Worth, Matt is passionate about his city, its growth, success, and place among our nation’s best. Matt currently serves on the Board of Streams & Valleys, and is a member of Christ Chapel Bible Church. He has previously servied on the Boards of The Greater Fort Worth Real Estate Council, CASA of Tarrant County, and the Fort Worth Chamber. Matt and his wife, Keelie, live in Fort Worth with their boys, Hayden (7) and John William (5).
