Current responsibilities

Marshall Hillman serves as an Executive Director in JLL Value and Risk Advisory in the United States. In this role, he focuses on valuation and consultation as part of Value and Risk Advisory Seniors Housing and Healthcare sector. Mr. Hillman, who has been involved in the appraisal and consulting field since 2007, is known nationally for his expertise involving seniors housing and healthcare projects. He has conducted market studies, rent analysis, and valuations for more than 2,000 projects including independent living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs), senior apartments, long-term acute care hospitals (LTACHs), short-term acute care hospitals, surgery centers, addiction treatment centers and behavioral health facilities. Additionally, Mr. Hillman has been involved in appraisal matters in 49 states and the District of Columbia.

Experience

Prior to joining JLL in December 2016, Mr. Hillman was with a national valuation firm, where he most recently served as a Managing Director in the firm’s Seniors Housing and Healthcare Specialty Group based in Dallas. Mr. Hillman joined the firm’s Dallas/Fort Worth office as an Analyst in May 2007. Prior to his work with the firm, Mr. Hillman was an Internal Audit Senior for Tenet Healthcare, specializing in hospital compliance and financial reporting, as well as a Staff Auditor for Deloitte, specializing in financial reporting for governmental and healthcare entities.
