Marianne joined JLL in 2010 as part of the firm’s commitment to expansion into New York’s suburban markets in Melville, Long Island. She is a licensed salesperson in the brokerage services group, strategizing on behalf of commercial office and medical owners, landlords and occupiers. In 2016, Marianne began developing a specialty service line to develop a client base of education and special needs occupiers to expand the capabilities of the Melville office. This specialty area works with public and independent schools, corporate and entrepreneurial childcare centers and special needs service providers.
Experience with a variety of clients, whether corporate, institutional or entrepreneurial, gives her an understanding of a client’s real estate needs beyond the geographic search. Her business model brings a holistic approach to real estate services implementation. Establishing valuation, conducting market analyses for disposition or acquisition and providing transaction services are the key components of her client retention and growth initiatives.
Marianne was not always in commercial real estate. She is a seasoned sales specialist with over fifteen years’ experience, where she specialized in product licensing entertainment properties spanning several platforms including: film, television, entertainment brands and events on a domestic and international basis. She transitioned to commercial real estate in 2005, as Senior Associate at CB Richard Ellis. There, she served as lead liaison to platinum developer clients, servicing in excess of 1 million sf of landlord agency assignments for commercial office and medical sectors. As well, Marianne worked closely with senior counterparts to successfully complete numerous medical condominium sales and other property dispositions.
Marianne holds a Master of Arts from New School University, a post-graduate certificate of professional study from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts from the College of Mount Saint Vincent. She is a member of the Commercial Industrial Brokers Society (CIBS), where she was honored with the organization’s Rising Star award for her initiative and contributions to the industry. Marianne has been the recipient of the Co-Star Power Broker Award for five (5) consecutive years.
Outside of JLL, Marianne volunteers at numerous events benefitting Nassau Suffolk Services for Autism (NSSA) and acts as Parent Association Chairperson of Harbor Country Day School, St. James, NY.
