Current Responsibilities
Malcolm Clayton is a Vice President with the JLL Office Tenant Representation team in the Orlando office. Malcolm’s current responsibilities include site selection, lease negotiations, business development, cash flow analysis, and office space utilization analysis. He is also experienced in facilitating land sales including entitled, future development land sites and consulting in real estate development transactions.
Experience
Over the course of his career, Malcolm has represented numerous tenants in the marketplace, affording him a practical understanding of the goals and requirements of both sides in a leasing transaction. Since joining JLL over 5 years ago, Malcolm has executed nearly 150 lease and sale transactions aggregating to more than $209M in deal volume. Representing regionally renowned companies such as, , Northrop Grumman, WeWork, Greystar, Waterstone Mortgage and Alcanza Clinical Research, Malcolm fosters the growth and advancement of JLL’s footprint nationally.
Malcolm’s background in ground up developments, multifamily and townhome sales, and office building ownership, aid in his diverse real estate expertise.
Education and Affiliations
Malcolm holds a BS degree in Finance and Real Estate from Clemson University and is a Licensed Real Estate Sales Associate in the State of Florida. Malcolm has been recognized as CoStar’s 2021 Power Broker for closing a top CRE transaction.
When Malcolm is not working he enjoys fishing, hunting traveling and spending time on his family’s cattle ranch and with his bird dog.
