Current responsibilities

Lucia Hedke serves as JLL’s Managing Director – Healthcare for the entire state of Florida. Based in Orlando, Lucia provides services across Florida and will continue to serve her roster of clients in the Washington, DC-Maryland-Virginia (DMV) market, while helping bolster JLL’s healthcare-focused tenant representation practice. Lucia specializes as an Investment Sales Broker and Tenant Representation (Full Service).

Experience

Lucia brings over 2 decades of experience in representing occupiers in strategic real estate planning, lease negotiations, options & analysis, research & development, and interior fit-outs. Her expertise in strategic real estate planning has included aspects of site selection, economical and space programming efficiency analyses, charting future expansions and retractions, and presenting strategic planning processes to executive committees. Throughout her career, she’s experienced working on behalf of an extensive and varied client list that has included NFP Organizations, Associations, Lobbying Firms, and national healthcare and medical device companies.

As a Principal at Cresa Washington, DC – the world’s largest occupier-only real estate company – she was a valued member of the company’s Emerging Leadership Council from 2016 to 2019. In that role, she helped develop Cresa’s longevity, integrity, and competitiveness in the marketplace. During a decade-long tenure, she was regularly named a top producer.

Education and affiliations

Following educational training at the University of Maryland, Lucia’s career within the industry has garnered several accreditations and awards. In addition to her membership with the Commercial Real Estate Brokerage Association of Greater Washington, DC (CREBA), Lucia holds certification as a LEED Green Associate. In 2015, for her role in the leasing for Summit Consulting by NAIOP MD/DC Commercial Real Estate Development Association, she received a Commercial Interiors Award of Excellence and again for the American Counseling Association in 2022. She also serves on the Finance and Administration Roundtable (FAR) Board of Directors.
