Current Responsibilities:

An industry veteran of more than 35 years, Louis leads JLL’s Global Energy, Renewables and Utilities Advisory Council, which gives him invaluable insight into the real estate challenges of the energy industry. Louis is adept at aligning clients’ business goals and objectives with creative real estate strategies and cost containment solutions. He brings 35 years of experience and expertise in areas such as workplace design, employee productivity, building design, construction costs, and transaction risk mitigation. Louis is part of a team that concentrates on delivering a data driven, organized, transparent process to gain consensus in real estate decision making and transaction management. Louis’ access to JLL technology tools helps clients streamline and simplify complex real estate decisions.

Experience:

Louis has closed more than 1,200 transactions totaling over ten million square feet on behalf of large corporations, professional service, and consulting firms. His experience includes leasing office, data center, trading floor, disaster recovery, industrial and medical space. He has been involved in the acquisition and disposition of numerous office and industrial buildings, and land. He has also completed transactions throughout North America, Mexico, Asia, and Europe. Louis has studied office market and occupancy trends for more than 35 years and has authored numerous articles and more than 20 JLL Houston office market forecasts. Before joining JLL, Louis worked for developers Martin Fein Interests, Inc. and Mark Lee & Associates, Inc., as well as the commercial brokerage firm Grubb & Ellis.
