Current Responsibilities
Laura is the property manager for the Jones Lang LaSalle Retail. She is responsible for the overall management, operations, financial performance and marketing of the retail centers. Her responsibilities are to ensure that financial performance objectives and reporting goals are met and that value creation opportunities are maximized. Additionally, Laura collaborates with leasing and marketing to assist in meeting leasing objectives.
Experience
Laura brings 20 years of real estate experience, prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle she served as Director of Property Management and Senior Property Manager at Crosland in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this role, Laura was responsible for a portfolio of 29 retail, office and mixed-use properties consisting of approximately 3.4 million square feet in the states of NC, SC, TN, VA, FL and KY. Her responsibilities included training of on and off-site teams of property managers, property assistants and maintenance technicians. She oversaw the property management monthly, quarterly and annual reporting process to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Additionally, she managed the relationship between tenant and client, monitored expenses related to budget conformity and performed regular site visits.
Previously, Laura held the position of Property manager at Lat Purser & Associates where she was responsible for nine retail centers totally over 1 million square feet, in addition to 224 residential units located in three condominium communities. She managed all aspects of rent collections and deposits, tracked property budgets and conducted routine property inspections and tenant meetings. Other positions she has held include Property Manager for Aston Properties, Inc. and Property Assistant at Ralph Edgar Group, Inc.
