Career summary
Kurt is a Managing Director in the Chicago office of JLL Capital Markets, Americas. He specializes in industrial investment advisory for institutional and private clients throughout the Midwest. His transaction expertise includes the disposition and recapitalization of investment real estate, equity placement, net lease transactions, and multi-market portfolio sales. Kurt has 17 years of commercial real estate experience and has transacted on more than $2 billion of industrial real estate products over the last half-decade.
Kurt returned to JLL as part of the HFF acquisition in 2019. He joined HFF’s Capital Markets group in 2016, following a 10-year tenure with JLL, where he handled asset sales, leasing, and tenant representation for the company’s Chicago industrial team. During this first stint with JLL, Kurt was a four-time recipient of the company’s Top Achiever Award and a board member of NAIOP’s Developing Leaders Program. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and a Minor in Finance from Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN.
