Current responsibilities
Kevin McDowell is a Senior Vice President for Project and Development Services in the Southeast Region and the leader of the Corporate Interiors Division of the Atlanta office.
He has led numerous national and regional headquarters projects, including BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee Cameron Hill Campus, 950,000 square foot $300M build-to-suit development.
Kevin also led the Project Management effort for Womble Carlyle Sandridge and Rice’s new offices at Atlantic Station totaling 80,000 s.f. and Sony Ericsson’s North American headquarters, a 45,000 SF project in Buckhead.
Pre-construction and project management experiences have honed his professionalism, while his personality reflects a blend of humor, honesty and a desire to learn.
Kevin is up to the challenge of motivating architects and contractors to do what they say they will do. He is aggressive and proactive, managing all of the design and construction pieces, seeking the information he needs, developing resolution to difficult challenges, and applying that information to his clients’ needs.
Experience
Kevin has over 19 years’ experience in the management of design and construction projects. Prior to the merger with JLL, Kevin served as a Senior Vice President in The Staubach Company’s Design and Construction Consulting Services Division for 12 years.
Kevin has invaluable experience in construction management, budgeting and estimating and overall schedule control. He has managed the design and construction of tenant build-outs, build-to-suits and major building renovations on behalf of a diverse client base.
Kevin specializes in managing the development of highly complex facilities from corporate headquarters projects (Scientific Atlanta and Convergent Media Systems) to mission critical facilities (AMD, E-Trade and Interland) to research laboratories (Georgia Institute of Technology Molecular and Material Sciences Engineering Building and University of Georgia; Paul D. Coverdell Biomedical and Health Sciences Engineering Building).

Awards
Kevin was the Staubach Company Top Achiever from 1999 to 2008 and the Jones Lang LaSalle Top Achiever in 2009 and 2010.
Education
Kevin earned a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction from Auburn University.
