John Wheeler provides landlord and tenant advisory services and directs Jones Lang LaSalle’s Lower Manhattan leasing operations. He has a focus on leasing agency services for major property owners in the Downtown market, creating and implementing solutions to maximize investor clientele’s value. His tenant representation work is concentrated in the New York region, in addition to ongoing national account work. John is a thought leader within the Downtown real estate and business community, serving as an officer of the Downtown Lower Manhattan Association, Board Member for the Alliance for Downtown NY, Chair of REBNY’s Lower Manhattan Office Committee and is frequently consulted by the media on issues and trends in the market.

Education and Affiliations
John holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English literature from Union College in Schenectady, NY. He is an Officer of the Downtown Lower Manhattan Association and member of The Real Estate Board of New York’s Commercial Board of Governors. He supports CURE Epilepsy, the Robin Hood Foundation and is a board member and coach at the Kinnelon Soccer Club in New Jersey.
