Current Responsibilities:

John Ruskin is an Executive Vice President with over 35 years of legal, management and brokerage experience in the commercial real estate industry. He is a member of Jones Lang LaSalle's law firm and healthcare practice groups and serves on the account teams for numerous national accounts.

Mr. Ruskin's organizational, analytical and negotiating skills support informed and comprehensive decision-making processes that allow his clients to control occupancy costs, maintain flexibility and implement their core business plans, effectively and efficiently.

Experience:

Prior to JLL, John, a former real estate attorney at Dewey Ballantine, was a National Accounts Manager at Studley. Under his leadership, Studley's account practice grew from 16 to 28 significant corporate accounts including securing the domestic representation of Accenture, Sungard and Career Education Corp.

Early in his brokerage career, John was mentored by John C. Cushman III and focused primarily on representing major law firms and national companies headquartered in Los Angeles. Prior to moving to Northern California, he was also involved in the leasing and management of the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company's 3.2-million-square-foot Los Angeles portfolio.

John is a licensed real estate salesperson in the state of California and a licensed real estate broker in the state of New York. He is also a member of the State Bar of New York and has previously served on the Board of Trustees of the California Shakespeare Theater and The Magic Theatre. John also served on the K-8 Strategic Planning Committee for the Lafayette School District and on the Fund Development Committee for Family Support Services of the Bay Area. He is an original investor in The French Laundry.
