Experience
John joined JLL in July 2009, as the transactions lead for HSBC Bank in the Americas. Since then, John has held several key global positions as the Teva, SAP, BNY Mellon, Morgan Stanley and the Americas Account Director for Deutsche Bank, . In addition to his Account Management/ CRM skills, John has led multifunctional teams including Transaction and Portfolio Management and Lease Administration (IPS), Facilities Management, Project Management, Occupancy Planning as well as Change Management teams.
John has many years of retail, office and industrial background and multi-functional team leadership experience. John came from Toys “R” Us where he was the Global Director of Real Estate. John was was responsible for retail office, industrial leasing, asset management and property management of 860 locations in the United States and oversaw approvals of 750 international properties (35MM SF). John's accomplishments at Toys “R” Us included generating $50 million in revenue from the disposition of surplus space for which he and his team received the company's "R" Star Award.
Prior to joining Toys “R” Us in 2007, John worked for Siemens Real Estate where he led the team in the northeast region (16MM SF). John was Siemens' US Consolidation Project Leader, which eliminated 300 locations and saved $65 million in annual spend. The US Consolidation team was the recipient of Siemens TOP+ US Award in 2005. John also participated in the centralization all of Siemens separate US real estate functions into a shared services organization.
Prior to that John held various transactions positions for Party City, Corporate Property Investors and Woolworth Corporation.
