Career summary
Joe is a Managing Director in the Austin office of JLL Capital Markets, Americas and leads the Central Texas Land Group Practice. Joe has more than 19 years of diverse commercial real estate experience, including site selection, development consulting, and investment sales. Currently, he is responsible for business development, investment advising, asset underwriting and marketing for land transactions. Throughout his career, Joe has been involved in investment sales transactions in excess of $2 billion.
Joe started at JLL in June 2019 working on the multifamily team before moving to the Land group. Before that, he was principal of Dowdle Real Estate focusing on land sales, and prior thereto, he was a VP with a telecommunications company with a primary focus on site acquisition and tower development. Joe began his commercial real estate career in 2005 at Marcus & Millichap in the private multi-housing group after receiving a Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Texas at Austin – Red McCombs School of Business in 2004.
